LG started shipping the Android 7.0 Nougat updates for its flagship device from February. The update delivers enhanced performance, and a slew of new features. However, the update still remains problems for some. One of them is the battery issue. So, in this post today, we’ll show you some tips to fix the battery life your LG running Android Nougat

Tips to Fix Battery Problem

This is a complaint we see at almost LG phones, especially after Android updates. Here are some tips you can try if your device is getting the same issue.

First, we recommend you to turn off any features you don’t use. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, Google Maps, or notifications from Facebook should be turned off. However, those only save a small bit of battery.

Second, you should turn off the Always On feature, reduce screen brightness by going to Settings > Display, or check for rogue apps draining the battery faster than they should by heading to Settings > Battery and check what app is using the most battery life. If you see an app at the top of the list draining the battery most, then delete and uninstall it. Reinstalling the app often fixes the issue. Although most should be by now, some may not work with Nougat.

Another option you can try is using the battery saver mode in Settings. Smart Settings on LG phones has an option to automatically control all the settings for optimal battery life throughout the day. Also, remember to replace the battery with a full one using the replaceable battery, if your device supports.

Using apps is different among people, so some of you say battery life is good, while the others say the opposite. You should try a few reboots by press-holding the Power button, or clear the cache, or use LG’s tools to clean up your phone. That should fix any battery issues.
